The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through a contract with Southern African Parliamentary Support Trust, has awarded the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy a 5-year, $3,039,475 grant to assist the Parliament of Zimbabwe in strengthening its institutional, legislative and oversight capacity.

Post doctoral fellow Subodh Mishra has been awarded a fellowship from a foundation targeting Myotonic Dystrophy (DM) to support new RNA Institute research into how a natural dietary supplement can be used as a therapeutic to combat the disease.

Graduate student Erica Graham has charted a distinctive course as she nears completion of her doctorate in nanonengineering. Through this organization, Graham has helped address issues such as underrepresentation in various graduate programs while providing a supportive environment for her fellow students.
